SkyeTec pioneered the construction industry with the SkyeTec Certification Program that offers Moisture Intrusion and Quality Assurance Inspections for indoor environmental conditions. SkyeTec Certification promotes best practices for moisture intrusion, validates environmental integrity and reduces indoor toxins for safer, healthier, and more comfortable buildings. Our prevention program assists builders in reducing warranty costs and liability by assessing the building's environmental condition and identifying any construction issues while they are less costly and time-consuming to repair.

During the SkyeTec Certification process, analysts check more than one hundred potential moisture intrusion points of a building using infrared thermography at various stages of construction.

  Infrared thermal imaging uncovers potential moisture intrusion.
• Certification Analysis
  Performed 7-10 days before closing- visual and infrared imaging used.
• 11 Month Analysis
  Visual inspection documents existing conditions for warranty department.
• Moisture IAQ
  Provides scope of work for mitigation and remediation of a water event.

Completing the SkyeTec Certification can provide up to two Innovation in Design Points for LEED® accreditation.
